     What an absolutely wonderful blessing for the students in the Simon area. The schoolhouse for grades 1-6 is now complete. Through your generosity and huge hearts for the children of Haiti, they have a new school building. The children are filled with an abundance of joy as they go to school with a "hope in their future" of obtaining an education – Praise the Lord! 

     Thank you everyone for passing along your blessings to the many children who are enjoying their new schoolhouse! Every one of us are blessed to be a blessing. Regardless of where we are or what we do, God gives all of us an opportunity to pour what we have into the lives of others. Our time, prayer, finances, and/ or resources. Don't limit God with your small thinking. Stop telling yourself your gift is to little or small because this is the second schoolhouse that you have been a part of building!

     When we moved to Haiti, we held a vision in our hearts. This vision within us was to minister to Pastors with a two-day conference. As we went throughout the southern parts of Haiti (Sud) we remained opened to the Holy Spirit. And as we set out to fulfill what God placed in our hearts to do, it was our desire to remain open to the still small voice of our Father with other things He wanted us to be a part of, in Haiti. Within time as we continued building the foundation of Heart of the Father Ministries in southern Haiti with growing the conferences, hosting Bible studies, and preaching at churches, the Lord was at work behind the scenes opening doors for us that only He could open. One of those doors was the opportunity to feed a group of children at a nearby school.  It was a choice to listen and follow-through with His nudging. It was brought to our attention that some food items had been donated to feed the children but that’s as far as it went. The food was being stored  in sacks waiting to be prepared and cooked for meals. When we were told that charcoal, oil and some spices were needed to make actual meals for the kids we felt a sense of peace about us, so we helped with providing the items needed. We had the ingredients bought and adding it to the “food supplies” sitting in the sacks. That week a hot meal was prepared for the children to enjoy at school. And that was just the beginning. Little did we know what God was doing and had in mind.  We stepped out in faith and started to assist with feeding the children. In the natural our support coming-in was small. However, for God, He needed only our faith to reach out and take ahold of what we couldn’t see and trust in Him for the provision needed to feed the hungry. As we stepped out in faith, the donations came in. We went from feeding the children a meal once in a while, to once a week, to a few days a week, to daily. And now we feed 2 schools which is over 200 students, each day. Only God! We recall in years past hearing from our mentor Andrew Wommack, two things that have really stuck with us. One, God doesn’t show us everything at once, it would be overwhelming to us and more than likely we wouldn’t fulfill His plan, or we would try to do it on our own, in our own way and in our time. And second, that when things happen that you can’t possibly do on your own, in the natural, you know it’s God! We are continually amazed at how God has taken the vision we had and expounded it beyond our own comprehension into His vision and plans for His children in the poorest country in the western hemisphere. If someone had shown us or told us this back in 2003 when I first stepped foot on Haiti soil, I don’t think I would have believed it. And that’s exactly why God shows us His plan little by little, in His time.  He reveals it to us as we step out in faith trusting Him.

     If some tells you they won’t believe it, until they see it… tell them,

     “you won’t see it, until you believe it since faith is the evidence of things not seen.”
